Dinka (Thuɔŋjäŋ) Perfect Tense and present Tense: A verb form indicating that an action or state has been completed at the present time, in the past, or will be completed in the future.

1.   Diäär eke cï cuïn thaal = the women who had cooked food. (Past perfect tense).

2.    Dhuɔ̈k eke cï ɣɔ̈k raak aa bɛ̈n baai= the boys who had milked cows, came home. (Past perfect tense).

3.    Gokï cuɔ̈k lɔ bɛ̈n wutic = But they would not come to the cattle camp (past perfect tense).

4.    Keek aacïï bï bɛ̈n wutic = they will not come in the cattle camp (simple future tense).

5.    Ɣɛn cï miɛ̈thdiɛ̈ juiir = I have prepared my dinner (Present perfect tense).

6.    Ɣɛn cï miɛ̈thdiɛ̈ juiir = I have prepared my dinner (Present perfect tense).

7.    Keek ee të cïk ɣɔ̈k raak wën miäk =they would have milked the cows since morning.

8.    Wën ye cï marɔ̈r lööm, go ɣɔ̈k raak = and when she had taken a jar, she milked the cows (Past perfect tense).

9.    Na ye cï nya ɣɔ̈k raak, go ca laar buric = and when a girl had milked the cows, she took milk under tree(Past perfect tense).

10.  Ɣɔn ye cï tik awalwala thaal, go ŋɔɔc= and when a woman had cooked awalwala, she seasoned. (Past perfect tense).

11.  Ɣɔn ye cï tik awalwala thaal, go tuup në miöŋ ë woŋ= and when a woman had cooked awalwala, she seasoned with cow butter. (Past perfect tense).

12.  Kë cuk piŋ = what we have heard (Present perfect tense).

13.  Kë cuk ŋëm në wɔnyïïn = what we have seen with our eyes (Present perfect tense).

14.  Kë cuk ɣoi = what we have looked (Present perfect tense).

15.  Kë cuk ku döt = what we have learned (Present perfect tense).

16.  Kë cukku ŋöör në wɔwuum = what we have smelled with our noses (Present perfect tense).

17.  Kë cukku jak në wɔcin = what we have touched with our hands (Present perfect tense).

18.  Kë ca piŋ në yïthciɛ̈ keerou = what I have heard in my two ears (Present perfect tense).

19.  Yen acï buï = he has mocked (present perfect tense).

20.  Keek ee të cïk dom puur thɛɛr = they would have cultivated the land long ago (Present perfect tense).

21.  Wën ye cï ye lööm, go tëëk në thoŋ thii = and when he had taken it, then he passed in the narrow path.

22.  Yen acï guŋ piny =He has stooped down (Present perfect tense).

23.  Yen acï tor piny =He has stooped down (Present perfect tense).

24.  Yen acï guŋ piny ku cooth tueŋ lɔ thööc =He has stooped down and reached toward. (Present perfect tense).

25.  Yen acï tor piny ku cooth tueŋ lɔ thööc =He has stooped down and reached toward (Present perfect tense).

26.  Marï ee tɔ̈ baai wääraköl =Mary was home yesterday (Present perfect tense).
