Dinka/ Thuongjang Tense 

Simple Present tense 

1. Ɣɛn ye anyol piɛ̈ɛ̈r anyol= I boil the corns. 
2. Yïn ye piɛ̈ɛ̈r anyol= you boil the corns (singular). 
3. Wɔ ye piɛ̈ɛ̈r anyol= we boil the corns. 
4. We ye piɛ̈ɛ̈r anyol = you boil the corns (plural). 
5. Keek aaye piɛ̈ɛ̈r anyol = they boil the corns. 
6. Yen e piɛ̈ɛ̈r anyol= He boils the corns. 
7. Yen e piɛ̈ɛ̈r anyol = She boils the corns. 

Continuous Present tense 
1. Ɣɛn piɛ̈ɛ̈r anyol në kundukic = I am boiling the corns in the kitchen. 
2. Yïn piɛ̈ɛ̈r anyol në kundukic = you are boiling the corns in the kitchen (singular). 
3. Wɔ piɛ̈ɛ̈r anyol në kundukic = we are boiling the corns in the kitchen. 
4. We piɛ̈ɛ̈r anyol në kundukic = you are boiling the corns in the kitchen (plural). 
5. Keek aa piɛ̈ɛ̈r anyol në kundukic = They are boiling the corns in the kitchen. 
6. Yen a piɛ̈ɛ̈r anyol në kundukic = He is boiling the corns in the kitchen. 
7. Yen a piɛ̈ɛ̈r anyol në kundukic = She is boiling the corns in the kitchen. 

Perfect Present tense 
1. Ɣɛn cï piɛ̈ɛ̈r anyol = I have boiled the corns. 
2. Yïn cï piɛ̈ɛ̈r anyol = You have boiled(singular). 
3. Wɔ cï piɛ̈ɛ̈r anyol = we have boiled the corns. 
4. We cï piɛ̈ɛ̈r anyol = you have boiled the corns (plural). 
5. Keek aacï piɛ̈ɛ̈r anyol = they have boiled the corns. 
6. Yen acï piɛ̈ɛ̈r anyol = He has boiled the corns.
