 Present Simple

Indicates an action that is generally true or habitual. That is, it took place in the past, continue to take place in the present, and will take place in the future. This tense is used to denote

1.   Ɣɛn ye diɛ̈r= I dance

2.   Yïn ye diɛ̈r= You dance (singular)

3.   Wɔ ye diɛ̈r=We dance

4.   We ye diɛ̈r =You dance (singular)

5.   Keek aaye diɛ̈r= They dance

6.   Yen e diɛ̈r = He dances

7.   Yen e diɛ̈r = She dances

Present Continuous Tense-

The form of Present Continuous Tense is- is/am/are + verb + ing

For example, present continuous

1.   Ɣɛn diɛ̈r = I am dancing.

2.   Yïn diɛ̈r = You are dancing (singular).

3.   Wɔ diɛ̈r= we are dancing.

4.   We diɛ̈r= you are dancing (plural).

5.   Keek kaa diɛ̈r = they are dancing.

6.   Yen a diɛ̈r= He is dancing.

7.   Yen a diɛ̈r= She is dancing.

Present perfect

1.   Ɣɛn cï diɛ̈r = I have danced

2.   Yïn cï diɛ̈r= you have danced (singular).

3.   Wɔ cï diɛ̈r= we have danced

4.   We cï diɛ̈r= you have danced (singular).

5.   Keek aacï diɛ̈r= they have danced.

6.   Yen acï diɛ̈r = He has danced.

7.   Yen acï diɛ̈r = She has danced.
