 Using the following verbs in Thuɔŋjäŋ simple tense and Present continuous tense

1. Simple Present tense examples

Ba dek = to drink

1.Ɣɛn ye dek = I drink.

2. Yïn ye dek = you drink.

3. Wɔ ye dek = we drink.

4. We ye dek = you drink.

5. Keek aaye dek = they drink.

6. Yeen e dek =He drinks.

7. Yeen e dek = she drinks.


Ba cam = to eat

1.Ɣɛn ye cam = I eat.

2. Yïn ye cam = you eat.

3. Wɔ ye cam = we eat.

4. We ye cam= you eat.

5. Keek aaye cam = they eat.

6. Yeen e cam =He eats.

7. Yeen e cam= She eats.


To sleep

1. Ɣɛn ye niin = I sleep.

2. Yïn ye niin= you sleep (singular).

3. Wɔ ye niin= we sleep.

4. We ye niin= you sleep (plural)

5. Keek aaye niin = they sleep.

6. Yeen e niin =He sleeps.

7. Yeen e niin = she sleeps.


To dance

1. Ɣɛn ye diɛ̈r = I dance.

2. Yïn ye diɛ̈r= you dance (singular).

3. Wɔ ye diɛ̈r= we dance.

4. We ye diɛ̈r= you dance (plural).

5. Keek aaye diɛ̈r= they dance.

6. Yeen e diɛ̈r=He dances.

7. Yeen e diɛ̈r= she dances.

 

Ba kuën = to read

1.  Ɣɛn ye kuën = I read

2. Yïn ye kuën = you read (singular)

3. Wɔ ye kuën = we read.

4. We ye kuën= you read (plural).

5. Keek aaye kuën = they read.

6. Yeen e kuën=He reads.

7. Yeen e kuën= She reads.


Ba ket = To sing

1. Ɣɛn ye ket = I sing.

2. Yïn ye ket= you sing (singular).

3. Wɔ ye ket= we sing.

4. We ye ket= you sing (plural).

5. Keek aaye ket= they sing.

6. Yeen e ket=He sings.

7. Yeen e ket= She sings.


Ba riaar/cath = to travel

1.  Ɣɛn ye cath/riaar = I travel.

2. Yïn ye cath/riaar= you travel (singular).

3. Wɔ ye cath/riaar= we travel.

4. We ye cath/riaar= you travel (plural).

5. Keek aaye cath/riaar= they travel.

2. Present continuous tense

1.   Ɣɛn dek pïu= Iam drinking water.

2.   Yïn dek pïu = You are drinking water.

3.   Wɔ dek pïu= we are drinking water.

4.   We dek pïu = You are drinking.

5.   Keek aa dek pïu = they are drinking water.

6.   Yeen a dek pïu =He is drinking water.

7.   Yeen a dek pïu= she is drinking water.

To eat

1.   Ɣɛn cam cuïn= I am eating food.

2.   Yïn cam cuïn= you are eating food.

3.   Wɔ cam cuïn= we are eating food.

4.   We cam cuïn= you are eating food.

5.   Keek aa cam cuïn= They are eating food.

6.   Yeen a cam cuïn=He is eating food.

7.   Yeen a cam cuïn= She is eating food.

To sleep

1.   Ɣɛn nin = Iam sleeping.

2.   Yïn nin= You are sleeping (singular).

3.   Wɔ nin= we are sleeping.

4.   We nin= you are sleeping(plural)

5.   Keek aa nin = they are sleeping.

6.   Yeen a nin =He is sleeping.

7.   Yeen a nin = she is sleeping.

To dance

1.   Ɣɛn  diɛ̈r = Iam dancing

2.   Yïn diɛ̈r= you are dancing (singular).

3.   Wɔ diɛ̈r= we are dancing.

4.   We diɛ̈r= you are dancing (plural).

5.   Keek aa diɛ̈r= they are dancing.

6.   Yeen a diɛ̈r=He is dancing.

7.   Yeen a diɛ̈r= she is dancing.

Ba kuën = to read 

1.   Ɣɛn kuen athöör = Iam reading some books.  

2.   Yïn kuen athöör = you are reading some books (singular)

3.   Wɔ kuen athöör = we are reading some books.

4.   We kuen= you are reading (plural) some books.

5.   Keek aa kuen = they are reading some books.

6.   Yeen a kuen athöör=He is reading some books.

7.   Yeen akuen athöör= she is reading some books.

To sing

1.   Ɣɛn kët = Iam singing.

2.   Yïn kët= you are singing (singular).

3.   Wɔ kët= we are singing.

4.   We kët= you are singing (plural).

5.   Keek aakët= they are singing.

6.   Yeen akët=He is singing.

7.   Yeen akët= she is singing.

To travel

1.   Ɣɛn riaar = Iam traveling.

2.   Yïn riaar= you are traveling (singular).

3.   Wɔ riaar= we are traveling.

4.   We riaar= you are traveling (plural).

5.   Keek aa riaar= they are traveling.

6.   Yeen a riaar=He is traveling.

7.   Yeen a riaar= she is traveling.

To come

1.   Ɣɛn bɔ̈= Iam coming.

2.   Yïn bɔ̈ = you are coming(singular)

3.   Wɔ bɔ̈= we are coming.

4.   We bɔ̈= you are coming.

5.   Keek aa bɔ̈= they are coming (plural).

6.   Yeen a bɔ̈=He is coming.

7.   Yeen a bɔ̈= she is coming.

To go

1.   Ɣɛn lɔ = Iam going

2.   Yïn lɔ= you are going (singular).

3.   Wɔ lɔ= we are going.

4.   We lɔ= you are going (plural).

5.   Keek aa lɔ= they are going.

6.   Yeen a lɔ=He is going.

1.   Ɣɛn pol = Iam playing. 

2.   Yïn pol= you are playing (singular).

3.   Wɔ pol= we are playing.

5.   Keek aa pol= they are playing.

6.   Yeen a pol=He is playing.

7.   Yeen a pol= she is playing.

To walk
